Tired of paying for “silver polish” solutions which are harmful and expensive? Try this silver polishing solution next time from items you likely have at home:
Steps
1) Fill up a glass bowl or plastic bucket with boiling water.
2) dissolve 1-2 tablespoons of washing soda. Washing soda
is similar to the baking soda you are likely familiar with, only much stronger. You can generally find it at your local supermarket.
3) dissolve 1 tablespoon of salt.
4) put aluminum foil at the bottom of the bowl or bucket.
5) dip silver into the water for just a few seconds and take it out.

Boston’s Attorney General said that Turner Broadcasting Systems and Interference, Inc. will cover the $2 million cost of the response to their January 31 publicity stunt involving placing LED signs with wires protruding throughout the city. They were supposed to promote a Cartoon Network show named “Aqua Teen Hunger Force”
Many in Boston had feared these were bombs, and consequently the highways and bridges were shut down, as well as bomb squads being brought in.
Ted Turner had apologized, and the marketing company hired by Turner, Interference, Inc. had the following to say on their website:

As you may imagine having read some of my other posts, I was more interested in the quality of the commercials on the Super Bowl than the actual game. Being that the average 30-second spot cost more than $2.5 million, you would assume that the ad quality would be the highest ever. Sadly, this was not the case, although there were quite a few entertaining ads. Over 50 ads were shown during Super Bowl XLI.

After Janet Jackson’s infamous “wardrobe malfunction” in 2004, network officials were understandably cautious about what they would allow to air during Super Bowl XLI. CBS even rejected out of hand two sexually charged GoDaddy.com commercials (catch the banned commercials here).

Even if you don’t love the sport of football, most of you will agree that the commercials shown during the Super Bowl are the most entertaining you will find all year. No other occasion brings out the creativity of companies like a $2.6 million 30-second spot.
One website is offering you the ability to watch just the commercials, without having to sit through the game.
YouTube, which was recently purchased by Google for $1.65 billion, has created a whole Super Bowl commercial section where visitors can rank the commercials aired during the game.

Dictionaries are wonderful references to have on hand, aren’t they? The most noticeable flaw in a dictionary, however, is that you can’t hear each word being pronounced properly. As a result, you are unlikely to try out a new word in your next meeting, for fear of messing up on the pronunciation and being embarrassed.

One of my most satisfying traditions during the winter is to drive around searching. What am I searching for? None other than poor souls who managed to get their car stuck in the snow and are growing frustrated. I am always happy to lend a hand and use my experience of several years of “emancipating” snowed in cars. There are dozens of methods out there, and I must admit that I resort to many different ways, but I’d like to share my favorite one with my readers.
Among the many emergency supplies one should always pack in a car, snow salt should be one of them.

As I’m sure you’ve heard by now, on January 31 several odd black boxes with lights were seen around Boston and confused for bombs. The media jumped right on it, and before you knew it, there was a mass hysteria surrounding the story. The boxes ended up being a publicity stunt for Aqua Teen Hunger Force, a cable show that runs on Cartoon Network. What the media didn’t initially report was that these same boxes were also found in eight other cities.
The immediate thought that popped into my head when I heard about this was:
